 Nestled between two Cathedrals and located at the heart of Liverpool City Centre, Roscoe House offers travellers high quality 4 Star guest accommodation and a warm friendly welcome in a unique Georgian setting. Each of the townhouse’s fifteen unique bedrooms has been refurbished to a high standard and offer guests every modern convenience whilst still retaining many of the building’s original features. Accommodation Each of Roscoe House’s fifteen bedrooms have been individually styled to retain the building’s historic atmosphere whilst offering guests every modern convenience. All our bedrooms offer guests en suite shower rooms with designer toiletries and fluffy towels, flat screen televisions with built in free view, DVD players, ultra comfortable beds, Egyptian cotton bed linen, irons and ironing boards, well lit work desks and complimentary WIFI – a must for today’s business travellers. In addition to the above each of our studio apartment rooms offer guests the additional benefit of a fully fitted kitchen and a living / dining area, making them especially popular with families and larger groups. Our king deluxe rooms offer all the benefits of our standard rooms with the added benefit of being located in the townhouse’s original reception rooms, making them at least twice the size of a modern hotel room. They also offer guests many extras including oversized bathrooms, super king size / twin beds, separate seating areas, extra large flat screen televisions, complimentary bathrobes, and complimentary still and sparkling water making them ideal for impressing an important client or for that special night away. Food and Drink A continental breakfast is available daily at Roscoe House. This is served directly to your guest room at a time of your convenience at any time up until 11.00AM each day. In addition to this a full English breakfast is available between Monday and Saturday and must be pre-booked the evening before. Whilst no bar is available at Roscoe House each of our guest rooms is equipped with tumblers, wine glasses and a cork screw, meaning that you are free to purchase your own alcohol and soft drinks from one of the many local outlets and enjoy it in the comfort of your room. In addition to this a great selection of bars from traditional to uber cool and restaurants offering foods from Classic British to Italian to Chinese making something to suit every taste and budget available within five minutes walk of Roscoe House. Conference and Meeting Facilities Roscoe House is home to two conference and meeting rooms, each capable of accommodating up to fifteen delegates. What’s more, all our rates are fully inclusive of tea and coffee, lunch, stationery, flipchart and LCD projector hire, meaning the price we offer really is the price you pay with no hidden extras. Location Roscoe House is located on historic Rodney Street at the heart of Liverpool City Centre. Rodney Street has been home to many famous residents over the years including William Roscoe, the father of Liverpool Culture and former British Prime Minister William Ewart Gladstone. It is located just three minutes walk from both the Roman Catholic and Anglican Cathedrals as well as the main campuses for Liverpool John Moores University, University of Liverpool, and LIPA (Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts). Church Street and Liverpool One with their fantastic shopping and the historic Grade 1 Listed Albert Dock with its celebrity bars, shops, museums and galleries including the Tate Gallery and Maritime Museum are all located within ten minutes walk, as is the Liverpool Echo Arena and BT Convention Centre. A short walk away you will also find Liverpool’s historic world heritage waterfront, the cruise liner terminal, and many more museums and galleries including the National Conservation Centre, St Georges Hall, and The Walker Art Gallery.  Oaklands Guest House is a large Victorian country house tastefully refurbished with beautiful architectural features. The area has many attractions to visit including castles, country park, steam railway, canal and the Thomas Telford Aqueduct which achieved World Heretage status in 2009. We also have some beautiful walks including the Offas Dyke path which is only 2 minutes stroll from our accommodation. |
